Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup cornstarch
Orange Sauce
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced

Method
 

  1. Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Dip chicken in eggs, then coat thoroughly with cornstarch.
  3. Fry chicken in hot oil until crispy and golden. Drain and set aside.
  4. Simmer orange juice, zest, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic, and ginger until thickened.
  5. Toss crispy chicken in sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture. Sauce thickens as it cools.
