Easy Parmesan Garlic Ramen

A quick, cozy bowl of ramen tossed in buttery garlic sauce and parmesan, topped with crispy tofu and herbs.

Ingredients
  

Ramen Base
  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles discard seasoning packet
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese plus extra for garnish
  • 0.5 cup tofu cubes pan-fried or air-fried
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups water or broth
  • 1 tbsp panko breadcrumbs for crunch
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley fresh
  • black sesame seeds for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Boil noodles in 2 cups of water or broth for 2–3 minutes. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of the noodle water.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes.
  3. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and reserved noodle water. Stir in parmesan cheese.
  4. Add noodles and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Top with tofu, breadcrumbs, parsley, and black sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

Adjust garlic and parmesan to taste. For a creamier version, add a splash of milk or cream.
