- Mix pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar; bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Cool baked pretzels completely and break into clusters.
- Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/2 cup sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping until fluffy.
- Stir in drained pineapple and vanilla extract.
- Fold in two-thirds of pretzel mixture just before serving.
- Top with remaining pretzels and serve chilled.
Notes
Keep pretzels separate until serving to maintain crunch.
