Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
Sauce
  • 0.5 cup hot sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Garnish
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Coat chicken in cornstarch and dip into beaten eggs.
  2. Fry chicken until golden and crisp. Drain excess oil.
  3. Sauté garlic briefly, then add hot sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and chili flakes.
  4. Toss chicken in sauce and cook until thickened and glossy.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice.

Adjust spice and sweetness to preference. Great for meal prep or next-day lunches.
