French Mustard Chicken

Ingredients
  

Mustard Chicken
  • 1.5 lb chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Tongs
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Season and sear chicken until golden.
  2. Cook shallots and garlic in the same skillet.
  3. Deglaze with white wine and reduce.
  4. Stir in mustards and cream.
  5. Return chicken and simmer until cooked through.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
