Ingredients
  

  • 1 pizza dough prepared
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced, seeds removed
  • 1 lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • fresh basil leaves torn
  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and heat pizza stone or baking sheet.
  2. Roll out dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.
  3. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic.
  4. Top with mozzarella and ricotta.
  5. Arrange lemon slices and sprinkle with lemon zest.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Top with basil and drizzle of olive oil before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add dollops of burrata after baking.
