  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp dried basil
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest optional

Method
 

  1. Pour olive oil into a shallow serving bowl.
  2. Add minced garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Stir gently to combine ingredients evenly.
  4. Add chopped parsley and optional lemon zest.
  5. Allow the dip to rest for 5–10 minutes so the flavors infuse.
  6. Serve with warm bread for dipping.
