Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp sugar or honey
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Topping
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.75 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • sea salt for sprinkling

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet or 9x13 pan
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Bloom yeast in warm water with sugar for 5–8 minutes.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, and olive oil to form dough.
  3. Knead lightly and rise for 1 hour.
  4. Stretch dough in oiled pan and rise again.
  5. Dimple dough and add garlic olive oil, Parmesan, and herbs.
  6. Bake at 425°F for 18–22 minutes until golden.

Notes

Use good olive oil and fresh garlic for best flavor.
