Ingredients
  

Soup
  • 500 g chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 120 g egg noodles
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Sauté vegetables, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken, broth, and soy sauce; simmer until chicken is cooked.
  3. Shred chicken and return to pot.
  4. Cook noodles and finish with sesame oil.

Notes

For best texture, cook noodles separately if storing leftovers.
