Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese or anthotyro, well-drained
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1/2 cup honey plus more for drizzling
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest freshly grated
  • cinnamon or powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk ricotta, yogurt, eggs, honey, lemon zest, vanilla, and flour until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into dish and bake 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
  4. Cool slightly, then dust with cinnamon or sugar. Drizzle with extra honey to serve.

Notes

Melopita is a rustic Greek pie best enjoyed with extra honey drizzled on top. Great served warm or chilled.
