Ingredients
  

Smoothie Base
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 lime, juiced optional
  • 4–5 ice cubes optional

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients by peeling the banana and avocado, and washing the spinach leaves.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender: spinach, avocado, banana, almond milk, and honey.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30–45 seconds.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity with more honey or lime juice as desired.
  5. Pour into glasses, garnish, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana or add a few ice cubes. You can also prepare smoothie packs ahead of time and freeze for quick blending later.
