Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Cheesecake Swirl
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • orange and black gel food coloring as desired
  • Halloween sprinkles optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, cocoa, and salt until combined.
  3. Reserve 1/4 cup brownie batter. Pour remaining batter into the pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth. Tint with orange and black gel food coloring.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture and reserved brownie batter over the top. Swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely, garnish with sprinkles, and slice.
