- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with liners.
- Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients with cream soda and buttermilk.
- Bake cupcakes for 18–20 minutes and cool completely.
- Prepare frosting and frost cooled cupcakes.
