Ingredients
  

Hibiscus Tea Base
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
Fruit & Citrus
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
Sweetener & Garnish
  • 1/4 cup sugar or honey adjust to taste
  • 2 cups ice

  • Fine mesh strainer

Method
 

  1. Boil water, remove from heat, and steep dried hibiscus flowers for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Strain the tea and chill until cold.
  3. Blend strawberries with a small amount of hibiscus tea until smooth.
  4. Combine hibiscus tea, strawberry puree, lemon juice, and sweetener in a pitcher.
  5. Stir well, adjust sweetness, and serve over ice.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste. Best served well chilled.
