Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef lean preferred
  • 4 cups potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a casserole dish.
  2. Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until browned. Drain fat.
  3. Mix soup, milk, and seasonings in a bowl.
  4. Layer potatoes, beef, and sauce in dish. Repeat layers.
  5. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil, top with cheese, and bake 15 minutes more.

Notes

Customize with your favorite veggies or swap ground beef for turkey. Makes delicious leftovers!
