Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter Base
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Bread & Topping
  • 8 slices Texas toast bread thick-cut
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Mix butter, garlic, olive oil, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread garlic butter evenly on Texas toast slices.
  4. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake 8–10 minutes until golden and bubbly. Broil 1–2 minutes for crispness.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Perfect side for pasta, soups, or grilled dishes. Can be made ahead and frozen.
