Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts cubed
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs beaten
Sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Deep skillet or pot
  • Saucepan
  • Slotted spoon

Method
 

  1. Coat chicken in egg and flour-cornstarch mixture.
  2. Fry in hot oil until golden and cooked through.
  3. Simmer sauce ingredients and thicken with slurry.
  4. Toss chicken in sauce and garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

Fry in batches for maximum crispiness. Toss with sauce just before serving.
