Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb pork sausage optional
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or mini buns
  • 2 tbsp melted butter for brushing
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheet.
  2. Brown beef and sausage in skillet; drain fat.
  3. Add onion and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in seasonings and Worcestershire sauce; remove from heat.
  5. Add cream cheese and cheddar; stir until melted.
  6. Spoon mixture into biscuit rounds; seal or leave open-faced.
  7. Brush with butter and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
