- Mix mashed potatoes with salt and butter until smooth.
- Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Shape into a round and cut into four wedges.
- Cook on a hot dry skillet 4–5 minutes per side until golden.

Serve warm with butter or as part of a traditional Irish breakfast.
