  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 20 oz crushed pineapple with juice
  • 3 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks optional for garnish
  • whipped topping or glaze for finishing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix cake mix, crushed pineapple with juice, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool slightly, then top with pineapple chunks and whipped topping or glaze.
  5. Chill for 1 hour before slicing for best texture and flavor.

Notes

For an extra tropical touch, sprinkle toasted coconut on top or serve with a rum-infused glaze.
