- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
- Add frozen vegetables and simmer briefly.
- Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Use leftover mashed potatoes for faster prep. Broil briefly for a crisp top.
