- Cook bacon in skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion and garlic in bacon fat.
- Add bourbon, deglaze the pan, and cook 1 minute.
- Stir in maple syrup, brown sugar, ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add beans and half the bacon. Stir and bake 45–50 minutes at 350°F until thickened.
- Top with remaining bacon before serving.
