- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk together melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread into prepared pan, sprinkle extra chips on top, and bake 25–30 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
Remove bars while slightly underbaked for the softest, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
