Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 sleeve (30 crackers) Ritz crackers crushed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
  2. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup in a large bowl.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then stir well.
  4. Fold shredded chicken and 1 1/2 cups cheddar into mixture.
  5. Spread mixture evenly in casserole dish.
  6. Mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
  7. Top with remaining cheddar and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Rotisserie chicken works perfectly. Freezes well before baking.
