  • 4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 10 pieces pepperoncini peppers
  • 0.5 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter

Method
 

  1. Place chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the roast.
  3. Add pepperoncini peppers and pour in pepperoncini juice.
  4. Place butter on top of the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes until tender.
  6. Shred beef and mix into the gravy before serving.

Notes

Do not add salt. Serve over mashed potatoes or on sandwiches.
