Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1.25 cups M&M candies divided, for mixing and topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and whisk in sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and 3/4 cup M&Ms.
  6. Spread batter evenly in pan and top with remaining M&Ms.
  7. Bake 28–32 minutes, until set but fudgy in the center.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Do not overbake for fudgy texture. Chill before slicing for clean squares.
