- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Cook the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Slice biscuit dough into thin layers and layer the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spread half of the cooked sausage over the biscuit layer, then sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Repeat layers: remaining biscuit slices, remaining sausage, and top with remaining cheese.
- Pour the egg and milk mixture evenly over the layered pie.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor. Can be made ahead and baked the next morning.
