Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup mini chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Heat-treat flour and allow to cool completely.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Mix in milk and vanilla.
  4. Add flour and salt, mixing until dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Press dough into lined pan.
  7. Chill until firm, then slice into bars.
