Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1.5 cups Medjool dates pitted
  • 0.5 cup raw cacao powder
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • 8x8-inch pan
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Pulse almonds in a food processor until finely ground.
  3. Add dates and blend until combined and sticky.
  4. Add cacao powder, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Blend until thick and cohesive.
  5. Press mixture firmly into prepared pan.
  6. Refrigerate at least 60 minutes until firm.
  7. Slice into bars and serve chilled.

Notes

Store in refrigerator up to 7 days or freeze for longer storage.
