- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
- Whisk melted butter and brown sugar, then add eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in chocolate chips, pour into pan, sprinkle extra chips.
- Bake 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use old-fashioned rolled oats for texture. Freeze slices for grab-and-go snacks.
