Ingredients
  

Soup
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes canned
  • 6 cups broth chicken or beef
  • 8 pieces lasagna noodles broken

Equipment

  • Large pot or Dutch oven
  • Wooden spoon
  • Ladle

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a large pot.
  2. Stir in tomato paste, seasonings, crushed tomatoes, and broth.
  3. Add broken lasagna noodles and simmer until tender.
  4. Serve with ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan.

Notes

Add extra broth when reheating as noodles absorb liquid.
