Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup yellow onion diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 12 pieces hard taco shells
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Cook onion and ground beef in a skillet until browned.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer until thickened.
  4. Fill taco shells with cheese, meat, and more cheese.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese melts and shells are crisp.

Notes

Bake tacos upright to keep fillings inside and shells crisp.
