  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage until browned and drain.
  3. Whisk pancake mix, eggs, milk, butter, syrup, and seasonings.
  4. Layer sausage in dish and pour batter over top.
  5. Bake until golden and set.

Notes

Serve warm with extra maple syrup and butter.
