Peanut Butter Caramel Bread
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzle

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in caramel sauce for swirls.
  7. Pour into loaf pan, swirl extra caramel on top, and bake for 55–65 minutes.
  8. Cool for 15 minutes, drizzle more caramel before serving.

Notes

For extra decadence, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
