Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt separately.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients alternately with milk.
- Fill liners and bake 18–20 minutes.
- Make frosting and swirl onto cooled cupcakes.
Notes
For stronger vanilla flavor, use vanilla bean paste or scraped vanilla bean.
