Main Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp unsalted pistachios shelled
  • 1 tsp sugar or honey
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk any kind
  • 1 shot espresso or 1/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1 tbsp crushed pistachios for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Saucepan
  • Milk frother
  • Coffee mug

Method
 

  1. Blend pistachios, sugar, and vanilla into a smooth paste.
  2. Heat and froth the milk.
  3. Brew espresso and combine with pistachio paste.
  4. Pour in frothed milk and top with crushed pistachios.

Notes

For a vegan version, use oat or almond milk and sweeten with maple syrup.
