Ingredients
  

Donut Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
Coating & Frosting
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk for glaze consistency
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree optional, for frosting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, beat pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry mixture to wet, alternating with milk, mix until combined.
  5. Spoon batter into donut pan, filling 3/4 full.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until donuts spring back.
  7. Cool 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
  8. Mix cinnamon and sugar, coat warm donuts.
  9. Whisk glaze ingredients, drizzle or dip donuts.

Notes

These donuts are best enjoyed warm but can also be stored or frozen for later.
