Ingredients
  

Pickling Base
  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic

Equipment

  • Glass jar or container

Method
 

  1. Pack green beans, garlic, dill, and spices into jar.
  2. Simmer vinegar, water, salt, and sugar until dissolved.
  3. Pour hot brine over beans and cool.
  4. Refrigerate at least 24 hours before serving.

Notes

These are refrigerator pickles and must be kept cold.
