Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.125 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 tbsp cold water if needed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cayenne in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter and cheddar until smooth.
  4. Add dry ingredients and mix until crumbly, then fold in Rice Krispies.
  5. Roll dough into teaspoon-sized balls, flatten slightly, and bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool completely on wire racks and store airtight.
