- Arrange saltines in a single layer on the prepared sheet.
- Melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, boil 3 minutes.
- Add vanilla and pour caramel over crackers, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 5 minutes until bubbling.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips, let melt, then spread evenly.
- Top with sea salt, cool completely, refrigerate until firm.
- Break into bite-sized pieces.
