Method
 

  1. Slice leeks and wash thoroughly to remove grit.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add leeks and sauté gently until soft and lightly golden.
  4. Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper and cook briefly.
  5. Serve warm with optional herbs or lemon.
