  • 6-8 chicken thighs bone-in or boneless
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.33 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 lemon zest from one lemon
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Whisk butter, broth, lemon juice, zest, garlic, and oregano.
  3. Place chicken in slow cooker and pour mixture over.
  4. Cook on LOW 5-6 hours or HIGH 2.5-3 hours.
  5. Spoon sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

Add cornstarch slurry to thicken if desired.
