Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add egg and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  4. Whisk dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form dough.
  6. Roll dough balls, press crosshatch pattern, and bake 8–10 minutes.

Notes

Remove cookies while centers still look soft for the perfect chewy texture.
