Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 6 chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 0.33 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar rice or apple cider
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Equipment

  • Large skillet or pan
  • Tongs
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken skin-side down until golden.
  3. Remove chicken and sauté garlic and ginger.
  4. Add soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, and broth.
  5. Return chicken to pan and simmer covered.
  6. Uncover and simmer until sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

Spoon extra sauce over rice or vegetables before serving.
