Spaghetti and Meatball Sliders

A fun twist on the Italian-American classic, these sliders layer spaghetti, marinara, meatballs, and melted cheese inside soft buns for the ultimate party food.

Ingredients
  

Slider Base
  • 12 slider buns Hawaiian or dinner rolls
  • 12 meatballs cooked
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups cooked spaghetti about 6 oz dry pasta
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or basil chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place bottoms in dish.
  3. Toss cooked spaghetti with 1 cup marinara sauce.
  4. Add spaghetti nests to each bun bottom.
  5. Top with meatballs and extra marinara sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place bun tops over meatballs.
  8. Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley; brush over buns.
  9. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes; uncover and bake 5–7 more minutes.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm out of the oven. Assemble ahead without baking for easy prep.
