Ingredients
  

Brownies
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips optional
Ghost Topping
  • cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips optional
  • candy eyes or mini chocolate chips for decoration

  • 8x8 baking pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 pan.
  2. Melt butter and whisk in sugar and eggs. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder; fold into wet mixture.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
  5. Cool, then cut into squares.
  6. Place marshmallows on brownies, microwave until puffed, and shape into ghosts.
  7. Add candy eyes or chocolate chips for faces and serve.

Notes

Microwave marshmallows only briefly — they expand quickly!
