- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 pan.
- Melt butter and whisk in sugar and eggs. Stir in vanilla.
- Combine flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder; fold into wet mixture.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
- Cool, then cut into squares.
- Place marshmallows on brownies, microwave until puffed, and shape into ghosts.
- Add candy eyes or chocolate chips for faces and serve.
Notes
Microwave marshmallows only briefly — they expand quickly!
