Ingredients
  

Pecanbread Batter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk sugars and eggs until smooth, then add melted butter and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
  4. Fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Bake until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Toast pecans before baking for extra flavor.
