- Cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth; add vanilla.
- Mix in flour and salt until dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- Shape dough into a 2-inch log, wrap, and chill 1–2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice dough into 1/2-inch rounds.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
For crisp edges, slice dough with a very sharp knife. Chill longer if dough softens.
