Ingredients
  

Base
  • 3 sweet onions thick sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter in pieces
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Slice sweet onions and place in baking dish.
  2. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dot with butter pieces and sprinkle cheeses over top.
  4. Bake at 375°F for 35–40 minutes until onions are soft and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

Use Vidalia onions for best flavor and add red pepper flakes for spice.
