- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread chopped bacon on the sheet and bake 8–10 minutes until partially rendered.
- Add sliced carrots to the sheet and toss in bacon fat.
- Mix butter, maple syrup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour maple mixture over carrots and toss to coat.
- Add bacon back to the pan and roast 25–35 minutes, stirring halfway.
- Broil 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization if desired.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
